Select Demo was contracted by a contraction management/general contracting firm to the perform the complete demolition and abatement of this one-story, 80,000 SF building comprised of concrete and steel with a concrete slab and associated grade beams. Select’s abatement scope consisted of the removal of asbestos VAT/mastic in office areas, exterior asbestos transite surrounding canopies, asbestos pipe insulation and glue daubs, the removal of all HAZMAT materials (CFC's, bulbs, ballasts), along with the removal of PCB caulking. Select’s scope also included the cutting and capping of sewer and water lines.
