Select Demo was contracted by a national general contracting firm to perform the complete take-down of this 75,000 SF, 5-story masonry building and the selective, structural interior demolition of an adjacent wood-framed 35,000 SF monastery and a 14,000 SF historical church. The scope also included the asbestos abatement of all three buildings and a complex building separation. Select Demo also engineered a structural bracing plan to safety dismantle the failing roof truss system.
